Tropical Storm Isaac Threatens Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic, Haiti, Cuba

Tropical Storm Isaac has formed in the Atlantic, and is making its way westward towards Martinique, the British Virgin Islands, Antigua, and Puerto Rico.

Tropical Storm Isaac is packing 40mph winds, and is expected to strengthen over the next few days, hitting the Lesser Antilles on the evening of August 22.

The National Hurricane Center has issued a Tropical Storm Warning for:

  • Martinique
  • Dominica
  • Guadaloupe
  • St. Martin
  • St. Kitts and Nevis
  • Antigua and Barbuda
  • Montserrat
  • Anguilla

A Tropical Storm Watch is in effect for:

  • Puerto Rico
  • British Virgin Islands
  • Virgin Islands
  • Vieques and Culebra
