Tulip Tree | Photo 02

We got another 8" or 10" of snow today which was in addition to the couple of feet over the weekend. This layer was pretty wet because the temperature was hovering right around freezing or just a little above. The tree belongs to the neighbor across the street and is a tulip tree somewhere around 110 years old. There was one in my front yard when I moved in 38 years ago but it had been struck by lightning the year before we moved in and was dead within a couple of years.
