Two Earthquakes hit Indonesia - seventeen injured

At least 17 people have been reported injured in the Earthquake in Indonesia today.

Many homes have collapsed after the first earthquake in Indonesia today. No word yet on how many casualties there are.

A second earthquake has struck off the coast of Indonesia, however this one is smaller with a magnitude of 5.8 - no tsumani warning has been issued for this quake.
Previously:
Indonesia has issued a tsunami warning after an earthquake with a magnitude of 7.5 hit off the eastern coast of the island.
There are no reports of injuries or damages so far but this magnitude of a quake has the ability to trigger a tsunami.
The U.S. Geological Survey says the quake hit early Thursday and was centered 200 miles (327 kilometers) northeast of Manado, a town on Sulawesi island. It says it had a depth of about 20 miles (30 kilometers) beneath the ocean floor.
Indonesia is located on the 'Ring of Fire', which is an area with a lot of seismic upheaval.

its hard to believe the geological activity of this area of the world.
