Massive Flooding in Manila as Typhoon Pedring Hits

Typhoon Nestat (also named Typhoon Pedring) has made landfall in the Philippines, causing heavy flooding in Manila. Residents waded through waist- and neck-deep water, and at least 16 people have been killed due to the storm.

The flooding hit Malina, which was already saturated from monsoons, one day after the commemoration of Typhoon Ketsana, which killed 500 people in 2009. 100,000 people have been ordered to evacuate throughout the country, but locals are saying that there are not any shelters set up, so they have nowhere to go.

You can see eyewitness footage of the Manila flooding below.
