TYPHOON PEPENG (PARMA) MOVING TOWARDS N. LUZON
Now that 'Pepeng' is in the country, What will happened to us? one of my 'Kabayan' told me this morning during our breakfast... I told him to stay calm and pray, that the Philippines would be spared again from another natural disaster...
Five days ago, typhoon 'Ondoy' (internationally: Ketsana) took hundreds of lives and obliterated thousands of crops critical to the Philippine economy. Thousands of residents have been displaced from their homes. 'Ondoy' was the worst storm the country hsa ever experienced in 100 years of history. Ondoy dumped 410 millimeters of rainwaters in Metro Manila during a nine-hour period, that until now some of the area is still in floodwaters...
MANILA, Philippines – Typhoon "Pepeng" (international name: Parma) has gained strength as it continues to move towards the general direction of Northern Luzon, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said Wednesday.
In its 11 p.m. weather bulletin, PAGASA said Pepeng was seen 750 kilometers east of Guiuan, Eastern Samar, and was packing maximum sustained winds of 135 kilometers per hour near the center and gusts of up to 160 kph.
The typhoon is forecast to move west northwestward at 26 kph.
No public storm warning signal has been raised since the weather disturbance is still too far to affect any part of the country within the next 24 hours, PAGASA said.

We cannot discount the probabilities (of landlsides and flashfloods) because we expect storms as strong as this to have devastating effects so we urge the public to be alert,” said PAGASA.

Sa pagtaya ng PAGASA, mas malakas ang hagupit ng bagyong 'Pepeng' kaysa kay 'Ondoy' dahil sa taglay nitong malakas na hangin.

When people abuse the environment, it strikes back. When people forget to pray to God and instead replaced their faith with material prosperity and their hearts away from Him, certainly the blessings of safety and security would not come around because many do not deserve it. I'm sorry for a few who are righteous and sacrificed themselves for the good of many.I'll pray that the hearts of the people in Metro Manila will turn back to God and ask His forgiveness.

maganda sana kung ang typhoon pepeng doon lang sa malacanang tatama, yan ang dapat sa kanila puro lang salita ang tulong nila sa biktima ni ondoy., dapat sila naman ngayon ang tatamaan., hindi tayo tutulong....

So do we include the innocent children that died or were injured as part of the collateral damage as part of this turning back the heart of people in metro manila back to God. So are you saying that these natural disasters are started by God as punishment for people polluting the world?
I have no time for such hog wash, the people abusing the environment have to do so because the elite have made it so so they can make money out of the technology that causes much of the pollution. Human pollution in the Philippines has been caused because of religions that have indoctrinated the people that modern birth control is a sin. The Philippines is highly over populated.
Turning to a God is not going to help but man has to turn to clean energy and needs to use birth control. Or perhaps we could pray for god to increase the size of our planet, lol
My heart goes out for the families and love ones of those that died and to state clearly THEY WERE NOT SACRIFICED... It would be shameful to thinks so and if your talking about the Christian God the one explained in the words of Christ your visions are greatly misplaced.

We are already experiencing this super typhoon here in Albay! As I am writing this I could feel the winds striking the glass windows of our house. I have stocked water because our place is a flood-risk area.I also asked my brother to buy food in the grocery just in case.I hope this typhoon will change its course. We cannot bear another typhoon like Reming of 2006.Please pray for our safety. It's time to prepare!
