Typhoon Sinlaku - Update 6 - 0400hrs - 16Sep2008

Scattered rains continue to make late night/early morning appearances on the main Ryukyu island of Okinawa as Tyhpoon Sinlaku slowly moves away from Taiwan.  The latest  prediction  by the Japanese Meteorological Agency as to where this week-old system will hit next remains extremely unpredictable as it moves towards mainland Japan.  For a review of the history of  Typhoon Sinlaku click on the update links below:
