Nusa Dua, Bali (ANTARA News) - Delegates to the UN climate change
conference Tuesday observed a minute silence in honor of those killed
in car bomb attacks on UN office in Algiers.

"In honor of those killed in the incident, let us observe a brief
silence," President of the 13th Conference of Parties to the United
Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) Rachmat
Witoelar said before opening the conference.

He said the car bomb attacks on the UN office were very inhuman.

"Our thoughts are with the families of those killed," he said.

At least 11 UN staffers were killed and several more were missing after
car bomb attacks on UN offices in Algiers, according to AFP quoting a
revised death toll released Tuesday.

The Algerian government said 26 people were killed and 177 injured wounded by the two bombings.(*) END
