Unnecessary Amounts of Bell Pepper

We went to the store that night and I spent more than I ever have on groceries. To be fair, we were buying food for next week, food for Thanksgiving for 12, and food for the week after that I was going to make up and freeze.

I have to manage my limited time & energy as efficiently as possible, and I know there's no way in hell I am going to be going grocery shopping after cooking Thanksgiving dinner. It will be coma time for the next four days probably.

Why the unnecessary amounts of bell pepper? I bought two for next week's dinner and the rest came from the final harvest of my parents' garden before my Dad pulled up the plants.

Jenn & Chris stopped by that night and one of the first things Jenn said to me was, "You have unnecessary amounts of bell pepper."
