Speaking to reporters on the sidelines of the on-going conference of the United Nations Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) here on Tuesday, Watson said the United States was ready to support the adaptation fund and transfer of technology.
He said he was confident the Bali Road map now being discussed in the conference would include four significant fields, namely adaptation, mitigation, transfer of technology and funding.
The US negotiator also expressed optimism that the Bali Road Map would accommodate solutions to the deforestation problem on which Indonesia and other developing countries were focusing their attention.
Watson said the United States would continue to follow the drawing process for the global agreement whether it would really reflect environmental problems and economic resilience which were not yet included in the Kyoto Protocol.
