Vancouver aquarium announces pregnancy of beluga whale

The Vancouver Aquarium is getting a new addition to the family in the shape of a baby beluga whale.
Romance was in the air at the Vancouver Aquarium on Thursday and it had nothing to do with Valentine's Day.
Aquarium staff confirmed Qila, a 12-year-old beluga whale, Qila, is pregnant and due this summer, possibly in July or August. Staff actually confirmed the pregnancy in August, but veterinarian Dr. Martin Haulena said the aquarium wanted to be cautious.
The belugas are one of the big attractions at the aquarium, rivalling the famous YouTube otters holding hands.
