Mother Nature celebrated Earth Day this year with some  fireworks of her own.  The Lyrid Meteor Shower peaked the morning of April 22, followed by the moon eclipsing the planet Venus at approximately 6:20am MDT.

The eclipse was only visible from western North America and lasted between 60-90 minutes, depending on the location.  The skies were mostly clear over Boise, Idaho - where this 9 second clip of the eclipse was shot.
