After thorough research and evaluation, Green Car Journal's Top 5 for 2009, - the year's best-of-the-best 'green' vehicles - have been identified by the magazine's editors. These vehicles are (listed alphabetically) the BMW 335d, Ford Fusion Hybrid, Saturn Vue 2 Mode Hybrid, smart fortwo, and Volkswagen Jetta TDI. One of these exceptional models will be named the 2009 Green Car of the Year on November 20 at the Los Angeles Auto Show

If that is a green car???

The green car of the year should be a full electric car. This is greenwashing.

Great Pictures, however the Green car should be the new BMW running on Hydrogen and second the VW Bio Diesel or the Indian Bio Diesel.

Found some nice videos of the real green car: the beautifull Morgan Life Car..................ZERO-EMISSION and that is green.

this is an interesting car! when we talked about luxury, this is included on the list. you'll be reassured by the transparency of not just the BlueTec technology and gas saving devices keeping the car clean, but the diesel engine overall.
