Denpasar (ANTARA News) - A high-ranking military officer has asked his
rank and file to be wary of separatist groups infiltrating into the
venue of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change
(UNFCCC) to be held in Bali from Dec 3 to 14.

"Watch out for the groups infiltrating into the event to be held from
Dec 3 to 14 in Nusa Dua, Bali," Chief of Staff of General Affairs of
the Indonesian Military (TNI) Lt Gen Erwin Sudjono said here on Friday.

He did not rule out the possibility that certain quarters would disrupt the international event.

"It is possible for them to infiltrate into the venue to carry out
provocative acts with the aim of making the conference fail," he said.

Therefore, the TNI members assigned to secure the UNFCCC must be on the alert, he said. (*) END
