But we have Global Warming.
We sure do have Global warming which would explain why we’re currently sitting at -19 degrees Celsius (feeling like -27 degrees Celsius with the wind chill) or -2 Fahrenheit feeling -17 Fahrenheit with the wind chill here in Toronto, Canada and it would explain why my face literally almost froze off my body when I went out today during the day. Global warming would also explain why Las Vegas would get snow and why Florida would be as cold as it has been in the past. Even during the Christmas season when I was visiting friends in Los Angeles it was cold, but it was good to know we have Global Warming.
The problem with the issue of Global Warming is no one really has the balls to question its very existence. We simply go around believing what the scientists, the government, the Environmentalists and the media has to say. Oh yes let’s blame it all on Global Warming, the Polar Ice caps are melting, it’s the end of the world as we know it, as the Polar Ice Caps are going to melt and flood the whole world and turn our world into a cheesy big budget Hollywood like Water World movie. I bet Kevin would love seeing that, seeing he could say yes my picture sucked and cost a fortune to make, but I was telling the truth so that has to count for something right?
The fact of the matter is simply. If Global Warming is really happening like these Scientists and Environmentalists want us to believe. Then why isn’t it happening right here in North America. Toronto’s a prime example. In 2010 to 2011, Toronto has endured so far one of the coldest winters and it’s just been this cold every year since those so called Scientists and Environmentalists have been crying Global Warming every year. So when is it going to happen huh? I mean fine if there is Global Warming we should be at least seeing somewhat milder temperatures in winter, not the frigid cold temperatures we’ve endured each winter season and for Las Vegas to get snow, come on get real! If we have Global Warming like they say we do, then something like this shouldn’t be happening. As Global Warming means warming of the globe itself, it doesn’t mean the freezing of the globe as it’s happening right now.
I will give it to the Scientists and Environmentalists that there is climate change happening and I agree that climate and weather is changing, but let’s not go jumping the gun and keep saying we have Global Warming when clearly record cold temperatures continue to happen each year. We should get these Scientists and Environmentalists who keep defending the Global Warming theory to spend a whole winter in Toronto and go ahead and keep defending their theories with record cold temperatures like we keep experiencing. Maybe if they would freeze their butts of a little bit like I’ve been doing here all my life they might have a different ring on the whole Global Warming agenda.
Yes change is happening, and yes we got to do something about pollution and the breakdown of the O-Zone layer. That’s something that is a key issue, but instead of calling it Global Warming or blaming it on Global Warming, let’s rename the issue to what it really is Climate Change and get rid of the word Global Warming until it really happens maybe in the next million years or so then we can stop arguing about Global Warming when all of North America becomes a tropical paradise, Toronto included.

Kid,Global warming is happening. The excessive cold we're seeing this winter is likely *due* in part to global warming. The planet's temperature is a fraction higher. This additional energy in the earth's atmosphere causes more storms, with greater intensity. It also causes more volatility. So when it gets cold, it gets colder than it used to, at least occasionally. The average temperature is still higher then it's been in the recent past, but the swings in temperature have increased. Also: www.youtube.com/watch?v=g-F8EO3qOVk&feature=player_embedded

... And check this out: Cold comfort: Canada's record-smashing mildness What really jumps out, though, is a blob of green, yellow, orange, and red covering a major swath of northern and eastern Canada. The largest anomalies here exceed 21°C (37.8°F) above average, which are very large values to be sustained for an entire month. To put this picture into even sharper focus, let’s take a look at Coral Harbour, located at the northwest corner of Hudson Bay in the province of Nunavut. On a typical mid-January day, the town drops to a low of –34°C (–29.2°F) and reaches a high of just -26°C (–14.8°F). Compare that to what Coral Harbour actually experienced in the first twelve days of January 2011, as reported by Environment Canada (see table at left). * After New Year’s Day, the town went 11 days without getting down to its average daily high. * On the 6th of the month, the low temperature was –3.7°C (25.3°F). That’s a remarkable 30°C (54°F) above average. * On both the 5th and 6th, Coral Harbor inched above the freezing mark. Before this year, temperatures above 0°C (32°F) had never been recorded in the entire three months of January, February, and March.
