The Wedlock Tree

In India there's a ritual where relatives from the bride's side hide the bridegroom's shoes at the time of marriage and demand money to return the shoes back. But now in Indian state of Uttarakhand girls ask their future husbands to plant a tree instead thus resulting in Environmental conservation.
