Liberation BC was at Car Free Day in Vancouver to raise awareness about the ecological impact of eating meat. Did you know that it takes the same amount of water to shower everyday for a whole year as it does to make just one pound of meat? Think you can be a meat eating environmentalist? Think again. The amount of fossil fuel needed to produce a pound of meat is equivalent to driving an SUV for 64km! Now that's some food for thought!
