Caught on camera during a cruise ship in Nova Scotia, a whale created a rainbow in the deep sea through its blow hole.

Fun Facts about Whales

Some vessels in a blue whale are wide enough for you to swim through, and the heart is the size of a car, meaning you can sit in it.
Male whales are called bulls, and females are called cows. Their young are called calves. But, no. They do not produce milk.
Most of the whales don’t have teeth! Instead, they have baleen, plates that filter out small fish from water. They then swallow their food whole.
Orcas, also known as Killer Whales, are some of the top predators in the marine world. They feed mostly on fish, but some hunt seals, sea lions, and walruses.

Some cultures see whales as divine beings, such as in some places in Ghana and the Vietnamese, who occasionally hold funerals for beached whales.
And obviously, when the water and whale line up just right, whales can make a rainbow shoot out their blow hole.
