Wildfire Haze?

Yesterday morning we looked out of our window and the sun was already high up, but we were able to look straight into it without straining our eyes. We think it is from all the California Wildfire smoke that is creating that haze. Original and two more on flickr.

Right -- think that's likely the case.  Smoke from the incredible number of lightning strike fires in northern California  -- at one time there were over 800 wildfires burning -- smoke is incredibly thick and is likely drifting -- or being carried by the winds -- pretty much all over the region, even into some neighboring states..
