On this last December 2010 during the start of the winter weather I had the good fortune to be exploring the Mariposa area of California. The beauty of this landscape seems to have a positive spin on the people.Eveyone from the lady in the tourist section to the fellow diners at the local eatrey are all wonderful and personable residents. The glacier carved valleys and waterfalls(one the second highest in North America) are awe inspiring.

I began with the intent of writing about John Muir anf Ansel Adams. In the end the photos speak volumes on their own.

I hope and pray you enjoy them in same way I enjoyed seeing the valley!
