Yudhoyono, UNFCCC delegates to visit Nusa Penida island

The president and the delegates will observe pollution-free tourism objects such as wind power plants and environment friendly electricity installations of the state-owned electricity company PLN.

According to the committee, the tour of the island would take three hours (about half-an hour will be spent on the way) using motor vessels and speedboats from the Sanur Beach, Denpasar (Capital province of Bali).

Some of the delegates who are attending the on-going international conference on climate change which will last until December 14, 2007, have been visiting Nusa Penida island since Saturday.

A total of 31 delegates departed on Saturday.
