Equipment Store Engulfed In Blaze

May 24, 2007 Rhode Island - Firefighters battled a blaze at Bruce's Saw Shop for more than two hours yesterday afternoon. The fire, which started at about 4:15 p.m., engulfed the wooden building at 1493 Bulgarmarsh Rd., near the Stafford Road intersection. Fire crews from Tiverton, Portsmouth and Westport, Mass., remained on the scene as of 6:30 p.m., directing water at the front entrance and at hotspots on the roof, as shifting winds blew thick smoke at the two dozen onlookers.
