Ethics panel to probe Foley messages, readies subpoenas in coverup inquiry

The House ethics committee launched a formal investigation yesterday of former GOP representative Mark Foley's sexually explicit communications with an underage page, and has prepared four dozen subpoenas to determine whether there was a cover up of the politically explosive scandal.
