The EU foreign policy chief, Javier Solana is reported to be optimistic about his impending talks with Iran on its nuclear activity.
However, he has stated that he did not expect any major developments.
Mr Solana was speaking before starting another round of exploratory talks with Iran's chief nuclear negotiator, Ali Larijani, in Lisbon.
