Reactivated by the military, marine sergeant Adam Kokesh of Washington,
DC is being called to a military hearing on June 4th in Kansas City,
home of Marine Corps Mobilization Command.

Sgt.
Kokesh, an active member of Iraq Veterans Against the War has been
singled out by being recalled to military duty to be specifically made
an example of what can happen to any ex-veterans who speak out against
US involvement in Iraq.

Kokesh states on his personal blog, "This case is important because the intimidation of servicemen who speak out will suppress the truth in Iraq."

Kokesh has enlisted the help of political activist Jim Goodnow of the Yellow Rose of Texas Bus for Peace to ferry Kokesh and his supporters across country for Monday's hearing in Kansas City.

Says
Kokesh, "I intend to bring as many witnesses as possible to testify to
both character of my service and the nature of my involvement with
IVAW."

The Yellow Rose Peace Bus leaves Friday, the 1st of June at 4:30pm from Union Station in Washington, DC.
