Face of Incompetence

Marcelle Hamilton, a police officer in the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service charged a 19 year old woman for murder following the death of her 4 year old daughter from neglect and abuse.

Since the charges the laid, PC Hamilton shirked his duties of attending court and was absent a record 34 times from court. The presiding magistrate subsequently dismissed the case, freeing the accused.
