As heartbreaking as it is to hear and see when children die of hunger and disease, pointing the wagging fingers of accusations against western countries is ludicrous.

For one, look to the governments of these countries first and find out how this can happen!
First of all Indonesia is one of the worlds largest populace, and a Muslim country to boot!
Now this is not a anti Muslim rant, so holster your waggin fingers. Now lets put things in perspective, why the hell should the West be the world's Larder? We bring food aid, you kidnap us, behead us and tell us to get the f*ck out! You hate us to begin with and try your damnedest to blow us up at every opportunity, so why do you want us there? Oh I see, you just want us to airdrop groceries to your promised land now and again anonymously, so you can take the credit to your starving masses and get Imams to spout, OHHH lookee Allah and our benevolent leaded have provided for you!

Now lets focus on your Muslim brethren, the Saudis. The Saudis have more money than GOD! The worlds starving masses pretty much centre on Muslim/Islamic countries who are pretty much fighting and blowing shit up, including each other. So back to the Saudi's, why are not the Saudi's parting with some of that cash to help out their so called Brethren? Answer that one? The Saudi's who are the richest of the Muslim world have the cash and should be moving Allah and earth to help out those less fortunate, though I am sure some do, the bulk of this help is from the anglo judeo christian world who are constantly told to stay out of Muslim affairs or suffer the consequences. Am I wrong? Take care of your own, including changing your world for the better, instead of trying to turn our Western world into yours, cause our world, though not perfect is pretty goddam sweet compared to yours.

So put your money where your mouth is and concentrate your energies where it will do the most good, to the starving brethren. Saudis, stop for a minute and quit counting your gold, cause the din most likely is preventing you from listening! In ending if Allah is so powerful, where is your God now? Bowling? Get with the program, cause as far as I am concerned Charity begins at home, last time I checked the atlas your countries weren't on it.

At Dubai, they have that ski slope inside a hotel that needed a whole new category of stars. You also have to pay just to take a look inside.

Really, Barry, you think that they have money left over to feed other Muslims after that? Be reasonable.

Yeah, you would think, yet you wonder, especially since they are soooooooo adherent to the koran. Guess they are just like every other religion where you can pick and choose what you want to suit your opulent lifestyle choice. Of course having a whackload of kids you can ill afford to feed certainly makes a load of friggin sense, especially when they look to us to keep their kids alive.

Actually the Saudi Royals don't have a great deal of spare cash because they have to support their huge, extended family in their decadent lifestyles. The leftover money goes to appease the religious extremists and to make families like the Bin Ladens very, very rich.

While i agree with the proposition that it isn't the implicit responsibility of the western governments to feed the starving muslim world, it should be readily apparent that the religion of peace will not do so either. It is just as apparent that many muslims will pay for the explosives, should some of those poor decide they want to blow up us infidels. An expensive (and explosive) form of population control, if you will.

That said, if we are indeed our brothers keeper, then we as individuals should feed those that we can. It might be you, or your family, that needs a helping hand one day.

Didn't you know, Barry? Poverty takes a back seat here to the really important story. That story is gay marriage.

Yeah, the whole world and the attempt to make the whole world work, rises and falls on gay marriage.

Despite the "bordering on religious hatred" style of writing, you make a good point as regards taking care of the poor. I think the rich of whatever religion will almost certainly have a hearth reserved for them in hell. Didnt Jesus say it in one of the best ways, "it is easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than it is for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven". It would be a mistake to overlook the Brazilian street children, the American ghetto children, the starving children of India, Vietnam, Cambodia, the "dying rooms" of China, Romanian orphans.... etc... Dont forget the sultam of Brunei either. Possibly the best taken care of general population in the world, and a muslim country ! The people of the muslim Maldive islands live pretty well too. There is far too much poverty on this planet we share, a total waste. Plenty of land could be brought into cultivation.

Once they have paid for their Russian hookers the Saudi dudes have little left over to do good works like feed the hungry poor. I agree: the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia sits on the world's biggest pile of hypocritical pooh. Even if we ignore the fact they started the hole global jihad thing and paid for and organised the 9/11 attacks, these clowns keep getting a free pass from the poor when they should be ponying up some cash.
