Families plead for privacy for Amish girls

The families whose children were shot in last Monday's inexplicable
rampage at an Amish school retreated into the privacy of their rural
Pennsylvania community on Sunday and asked that no further word be
issued publicly about the medical condition of the five wounded girls
who survived.
