Toulouse, France. This morning, the Airbus A380 took off on its first flight. Thousands of local citizens and planespotters from further afield were there for the event. The Rolls Royce engines were barely louder than a rustle. The interior of the plane is sufficiently spacious to hold a tennis championship.
