The FBI, according to the Hollywood Reporter, cluckclucked at a sequence in the TV suspence melodrama 24 where Kiefer Sutherland beheads a suspect. It does "does not fall within the guidelines of government policy", the agency reportedly instructed a group of screenwriters it was hosting. Read on.
The FBI hosted a screenwriting workshop in Westwood to educate writers in the hopes that their counterterrorism efforts will be more accurately portrayed in future film and television productions. For example, scribes learned that Kiefer Sutherland's beheading of a suspect on 24 does not fall within the guidelines of the government's best vigilante justice practices.

Whew! That is good to know. I would hate to think we have added beheading to the repetoire, although I 'm sure Keifer did it with his usual breathless elan.
