Feds arrest Police Dept

Last week, The Feds broke an 8yr investigation wide open when the US Attorney announced 20 indictements against the Henry County Sherrif's Department to include the Sheriff himself plus 13 other officers or government workers. This indictment alleges that the Sheriff's Department removed guns and drugs from the Police Property room and either sold or used them on the street starting in 1997 until the present.

This breaking news hits home for Winchester Va residents and many families who have fallen victim to government corruption. The Winchester Police Dept has been the center of strickingly similar allegations but continues to dodge bullets of accountability and responsibilty by allowing the officers to resign or retire. Illegal activity such as rape, Breaking and entering, having sex with informants, lying under oath, falsifying police documents, missing transcripts and many other allegations have yet to stick, however, with the emergence of the recent FBI roundup in Henry County hopefully the City of Winchester will take responsiblity for its misconduct by holding the responsible agents of law accountable for their actions. Time will tell.

I used to live in Winchester, Va and I have had had first hand experience with police corruption. I was assaulted by a Winchester cop and the assistant chief refused to allow a written complaint. When I brought up internal affairs, he used the typical intimidation tactics similar to the corruption exposed in Florida. This jerk actually accused me of punching an officer while I was trying to file my complaint. I was warned by lawers locally and in Front Royal to be careful, because they had "heard of some incidents." None of them wanted to touch the case even with witnesses. One of the lawers I contacted in Winchester actually stated, "I have to work in this town." I was able to find a lawer in D.C. but decided I didn't want to be put in a self-defense situation with a dirty cop. I purchased 3 firearms that week, 2 for my home and 1 to keep in my car because of what happened. I had never owned a gun. I remember looking in my rear view mirror, middle finger held high, the day I crossed the city limits in the U-Haul and never looked back. If there is karma or a God, Winchester's finest inbred maggots, e.g. Roy Shillingburg, will certainly get what they deserve! I will look at their obituaries with great pleasure.
