FIJI IN CRISIS: FIJIAN WARRIORS THREATEN BAINIMARAMA - Niu FM News [audio link]

The Big Story that's coming out of Fiji today is talk that a group of Fijian warriors have warned army commander Frank Bainimarama they'll kill him if he doesn't step down.


The warrriors claim to represent fourteen provinces and have given Bainimarama their warning via the Fiji Sun, whose today running the story.


According to the paper, the group have given the Army Commander and his men till Christmas day to lay down all arms and hand back power to the Qarase Government.


Leone Cabenantabua told us just a few minutes ago that the warriors have name their mission Operation Tuvakarau which mean "Be Ready". (listen)
