Filipinos Invited to Join a National Environmental Campaign

Communities and groups in the Philippines are invited to join a national environmental campaign that will help clean up the Philippines and the world.

Clean Up the Philippines is a national environmental campaign managed and coordinated by Clean Up the Philippines Movement, Inc. under the banner of Clean Up the World.

Supported by the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), Clean Up the World is a global environmental initiative originated from Sydney, Australia that involves more than 35 million volunteers in over 120 countries each year, making it one of the most successful community-based environmental campaigns in the world. The campaign brings together community groups, schools, government, businesses and individuals to undertake various environmental activities such as proper waste disposal, water reuse and conservation, clean up activities and educate children about the environment.

Individuals, groups, businesses, schools and communities can register as Member of Clean Up the Philippines campaign, membership is free and renewable annually. By becoming a Member of the campaign, participants can share information and experiences with Clean Up the World's global network and positively change their local environment.

Clean Up the Philippines campaign is supported by the Australian Embassy in Manila, DENR and FiestaHosting.
