A mock hunt called "Find the Illegal Immigrant" sponsored by the NYU College Republicans is gaining national and international media attention. The event was posted on Facebook, and invites the members to join in the "games." The student posing as the illegal immigrant will wear a name tag, the others playing the part of the border patrol will wear a name tag called INS. College Republicans president and CAS junior Sarah Chambers says the contest is intended to bring attention to the issue of illegal immigration.

"The event will open up both vocally and physically the issue of illegal immigration," she said. "That it's not right to come here illegally while others are waiting to come here legally and receive free health care and jobs that undercut wages of American workers and people that are living here legally."

To correct the Young Republican in the article, the US does not have free health care. When I lived in NYC my healthcare consisted of vitamins and looking both ways before crossing the street.

American Dream

Perhaps, this 'game' will surely  bring attention to the issue of illegal immigration.

Here's a link to the illegal immigration to the USA in wiki.

Similarly, this might be also relevant on the immigration to the USA

Wow. Next, what? Yellow sombrero badges for Hispanos and pagoda-batches on the lapel for Asian Americans? Or a lapel-crescent for muslims? Worrying to see the US flush itself. The heydays of McCarthyism pale by comparison.
