February 15, 2007 Washington - Fire ripped through a large fruit cold storage building in Wapato on Wednesday morning, collapsing the roof and destroying many bins of apples. The fire began about 7 a.m. in the north corner of the attic and burned the roof off of Yakima Fruit and Cold Storage's building at 200 N. Frontage Road.
