January 29, 2007 Connecticut - It took firefighters more than an hour to extinguish a fire at a New London Turnpike shopping plaza early this morning. No one was injured. A neighbor reported the blaze at Buck's Corner Plaza, 2249 New London Turnpike, at 3:54 a.m., said Deputy Chief Kirk McKinney.
