December 1, 2006 Washington - An overnight fire has destroyed the fire station for the volunteer fire department in Ilwaco. Crews saved two engines, but an ambulance, two vintage trucks and gear for three dozen firefighters are lost. Witnesses say the building is gutted. No word yet on the cause of the fire.
