June 8, 2007 Colorado - A fire apparently started by a burning candle caused thousands of dollars in damage to a downtown-area apartment Thursday morning. The fire was reported about 10:15 a.m. at an apartment building at 1315 12th Ave. No one was injured in the blaze, which gutted a third-floor apartment and caused smoke damage in other apartments.
