March 11, 2007 South Carolina - A blazing fire on Sassanqua Drive in the Maryville community left eight people, including four young children, without a home Friday afternoon. The blaze, which broke out around 10:40 a.m., left charred bicycles, toys and household goods in the remains of the burned-out structure. Homeowner Don Hardee said he was at home with his 5-year-old grandson, Corey Stone, when the fire broke out. The two escaped the flames, but Hardee said the fire spread too fast for him ...
