April 26, 2007 Virginia - Lightning from a fast-moving thunderstorm struck the roof of a brick colonial home along the James River Tuesday, sparking a fire that burned through much of the home's attic, an official said. Authorities received a report of a fire at 6:35 p.m. at 1409 Riversedge Road, Newport News Fire Chief Kenneth Jones said.
