Firefighters Battle House Fire In Gastonia

June 5, 2007 North Carolina - On May 28, 2007 at 0142 hours Crowders Mountain Fire and Rescue and Union Road Volunteer Fire Department were dispatched to a residential fire. Upon arrival crews were met with heavy fire conditions throughout the structure. Two 1.75 inch and one 2.5 inch attack lines were stretched to attack the fire and protect an exposure on the "B" side.
