Firefighters' Divorce Is Complete McIntosh And Darien Departments

April 11, 2007 Florida - The split of the McIntosh County and Darien fire departments became complete Friday when volunteers took a fire truck from a downtown firehouse and parked it just outside the city limits. McIntosh County fire Chief Mark Deverger took possession of the 1995 Ford pumper about 9:30 a.m. and left the city with a 2000 GMC pumper and a 1960s vintage ladder truck.
