Do not surrender the flag to the Republofascists. We all stood behind it on September 11th, and it is not we who corrupted that devotion afterwards.

The flag stands for a government of laws, not men. It stands for a constitution that allows gun ownership beyond all comprehension, denies authoritarian trampling of our rights and demands separation of church and state. You can't have one without the other, and it is time we make certain that doesn't happen.

No, this is our flag. We do not surrender it to the criminals and hate mongerers who happen to be running our country. It has been through too much and stands for too much for us to let it fall into their hands.

It is time to honor the flag. Stand up for the flag and "the republic for which it stands", not the traitors who wrap themselves in it.
