It looks more like UFO technology than the future of crime fighting. Watch the spy drone in action in this Video link.

But police are confident that this miniature remote- controlled helicopter will be an invaluable weapon in the war against wrongdoers.

The Microdrone, measuring only 2ft between the tips of its eight rotor blades, was originally designed for military reconnaissance.VIDEO: Watch the spy drone in action

Ha!

Amazing, look at what so-called civilized societies have been reduced to ... soon we won't be able to take a crap in our own bathrooms! Can you imagine what some bobby half bored to death would be doing with his new video game? And why isn't this post on the front burner instead of all those boring stuff we get to read ... NowPublic is starting to lose its salt. Keep it coming liam, this sure is great stuff ... never mind that NP hasn't done it the justice it deserves. It's still deep stuff for the discerning.

Thanks egoigwe pleased you liked it. I am interested in the UFO aspect as the machine looks similar to USA sightings.

Its all you Liam, you're good to go ... and yeah ... those flying saucers and UFOs, probably bigger and better  multi-spy cameras with reflectors and transponders plugged into Echelon or some domsat. From where else is Blair going to get such a lunatic idea?

That would explain the continual sightings. Can you imagine all those giggling faces in Bush's administration, when people call them UFOs? I can bet my bottom kobo something is going on here.

Hello liamssoft, the war on terror turns into the war on antisocial behavior, turns into the war against future suspected wrongdoers. Sometimes I just wonder wether this nightmare is an ephemeral episode or, else, where this is going to take us. This all makes me want to go back to the New York of the good old early 1980s or late 1970s. Not as safe, maybe, but not as dead either. Long live peer- and state sponsored social pressure, comrades!

Hmmm... I do hope it's not going to be a tool for the users - security agent to watch great minds sketching their ideas, couples celebrating their unions,  thereby turning into a steal.
