MIAMI (AP) - A cloud of dust from the Sahara Desert could move over large sections of Florida by early next week, although forecasters do not expect the system to cause widespread problems or pose any serious health risks.

The massive cloud - nearly the size of the continental United States -
should arrive between Monday and Wednesday. Dust clouds, especially at
this time of year, are not uncommon.

The St. Pete Times has published an article relating to this event:

Floridians can't seem to catch a break when it comes to the weather.

Though Florida was spared the rains and winds from Tropical Storm
Franklin, warmth from the storm's core blasted the state Saturday,
pushing heat-index readings to dangerous levels.

On top of that, there's a sandstorm coming. Seriously.
