Formal Charges Expected In Newborn Death

CASTLE ROCK, Colo. -- An 18-year-old college student from Parker, Colo., will be formally charged Thursday in the death of a newborn baby. Addie Kubisiak was arrested Monday and was being held without bail in the Douglas County jail for investigation of first-degree murder. The crime allegedly occurred in Parker but the remains of the infant were found in Kubisiak's dorm room at Western State College in Gunnison. Officials made the gruesome discovery after students were alerted by a foul smell in the building.
