This year the Westside Classic doubled as the British Columbia provincial Road Racing Championships. With many of the top elite racers currently in the Eastern United States there was the opportunity for some surprises. A hot and sunny day slowed down the pack today and kept the racers together in many of the categories making for some more tactical racing. In the end the course took its toll, with one steep sharp climb on the circuit, and most of the races featured a select group off of the front.
