Four families suing MySpace rather than looking selves in mirror

I'm a crazy lefty who hates News Corp and thinks most big companies deserve a good lawsuit, but this suit is more than ridiculous. MySpace is not a daycare center nor is it a school nor is it a security firm. MySpace has absolutely no responsibility to "protect" teenagers who use their website. Any security measures they do take are attempts to be good internet citizens, but any parent who criticizes MySpace for not taking enough steps ought to be looking in the mirror. If your daughter has been assaulted, you should be blaming the following:

1. The perpetrator of the assault
2. Yourself
3. Your spouse
4. Your parents for causing you to be a lousy parent
5. The U.S. Air Force, who invented ARAPNET back in 1969 but didn't bother to put in measures to protect wayward teens from predators
6. Bill Clinton (just because righties love to blame him for everything)
7. Yourself (one more time just for good measure)

I'm sorry your kids were assaulted, but your anger is obscenely misdirected.
