Fox is Looking for Sarah Connor: Terminator Spinoff

While Fox does not have a stellar track record on sci-fi, Firefly has enjoyed a massive cult following; perhaps some of those viewers will tune in to watch Ms. Glau in a new series.

Among the six shows that Fox is expected to pick up for the fall season, it looks like the Connor family is going to be among them.

"The Sarah Connor Chronicles," the series based on the hit Terminator movie trilogy, is expected to be in Fox's fall lineup starring Lena Headey, Thomas Dekker and Summer Glau.

Fox has not had a good history with science-fiction television series, however. Big-time productions that have had a lot of interest by little hype have barely made it past a month on the network in the past, including "Harsh Realm" earlier in the decade as well as more recent shows like Joss Whedon's "Firefly."
