How many people have to suffer of injustice in Arkansas, Before someone will listen? The day is getting closer for Onis M. Kelley's Parole hearing. He has spent the last 7 years in an Arkansas Prison for a crime that he did'nt committ. Everyone has heard inmates say that they were innocent, How often could they prove it? Onis M. Kelley did'nt have to Prove his innocence, it was proven for him during his Trial, It is all in Black and White, the Trial Transcript shows exactly how Onis M. Kelley was Railroaded . This is'nt the first time that Arkansas Judicial System has done someone Wrong. When a Man has been Proven Innocent by experts, Where is the Guilt to Convict him. Our System is'nt perfect, and it never has been. In the early years of Arkansas Prison System's things were extremely hard on Inmates, Guilt was'nt an issue, your ability to Perform your assigned duties were. It is true, Our Prison Sytem has changed dramatically in the last 40-50yrs, how does that measure up to all the innocent people doing time. Onis M. Kelley is not the kind of person that he has been discribe by Arkansas Judicial System. He is a Loving Father, and Grandfather. The actual crime was committed by the so called Justice System. I admitt without Law & Order, we would be living lives like the Cave men .
What does it mean to be free? You have the right to choose how to live your own life. That right was taken away from Onis M. Kelley almost eight years ago, when the lies of one Woman ruined his whole life. How does he get those stolen years back? The truth is that he never will, he will always carry the burden of time that he has spent in Prison as an Innocent Man! I , like many other's will be at Onis M. Kelley's Parole hearing, to support him in his release! It is our wish that someone, anyone with enough understanding of the Law to review his Case and help him Clear his Name, Life is hard enough to live. When you have to go through it as Branded Man, it only make's things that much harder.
Can you Put yourself in Onis M. Kelley's Shoe's, and see how it feels to be innocent, but carry a lable of a guilty man? I am sure that there are plenty of people out there that can understand exactly how Onis M. Kelley must feel after doing 7 years for a Crime that he did'nt committ.
If you are not formiliar with this Case, http://onismkelley.blogspot.com , read his story. It tells exactly how the System has done another innocent citizen of Arkansas. His story has also been told on NowPublic.com in the last month. Tragic actions in the Judicial System is why people don't trust our Law Enforcement Officers now. I can't say anything bad about the one's that I personally Know, but I have heard to tail of the ones that have done others wrong.
How do we go through the Day knowing that Innocent Men/Women are in Prison for things they did'nt do? I know as a person that I would'nt be able to sleep at night knowing that I helped Put an Innocent Man/Woman behind bars. I have much more respect for myself and others than to do such an InJustice Act.
I have the Trial Transcript of this Case ! It tells everything in detail, in their words, not mine.
Remember, this could just as well be You or even one of your loved ones. so think long and hard about how our Justice System is built, Who has special rights. It sure is'nt the innocent, or the Poor. The ones that can't afford sufficient Councel are absolutely lost in a Court Room.
