Afghan veterans in Hotel Company based in Gagetown, N.B. proudly display freedom tags hanging from their weapons.  On one hand, the tags indicate that the weapons are in the possession of the soldiers to which they were assigned;  on the other hand, because this is done to prepare for transferring the guns to new, incoming troops, it means that home isn't far away.
